Description of the Window

A description of the Symbolism in the Stained Glass Window (from left to right). The creation of the world, deep violet at the left, suggesting the darkness—then the orange and yellow for the Universe "and God divided the light from the darkness". At the top of the window — God said, "Let there be a firmament", at the bottom a suggestion of water —"and God divided the waters". At the right of the earth — green suggesting God said, "let the earth bring forth grass ... and the tree yielding fruit". And, also in this area, a suggestion of the sun, moon and stars. The Creator is recalled to our minds.

Next to the creation, in the oval form, in a deep violet color — the temptation of Eve and the fall of man, surrounded by some red elements, suggesting the serpent at the bottom — and also the perdition of man. Above — a white element with a small green tache — suggesting the dove coming back to Noah with the olive branch. Next — the Nativity — Star of Bethlehem — at the top shining to the bottom — where a golden tache of color suggests — the Son of God was born. Right of the Nativity, at the top — a white dove and red ray — as a symbol of the Holy Spirit, and the baptism of Christ.

Following the curved lines at the bottom, a suggestion of water and fish — as Christ's symbol of ministry "be fishers of men". Near the baptism of Christ, a tache of red color — symbol of a demon trying to tempt the Christ.

The center part, orange color as a suggestion of the Chalice, surrounded by a suggestion of the Wheat — "this is my blood, this is my body," and the radiation of light — "I am the light". Above and to the right — the Olivet discourse . . "those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give light and the stars shall fall from heaven". Just before the Crucifixion a red tache of color suggesting the tall betrayal of Judas. Then the Crucifixion -cross with two small ones on either side.

Next, a white element moving up to heaven — suggesting Resurrection and Ascension. Then, the Holy Spirit as the Comforter — the new paradise, which is suggested by the clear golden wall — a pure river of water of life — the throne of God — the tree of life that bears twelve manner of fruit. Below, the new earth, with light color, suggesting peace and happiness. Above to the extreme right — two large white taches of color surrounding a golden element. . Suggesting the second coming of Christ surrounded by Angels.
